JobScheduler comes with the following operating interfaces:

  • JID - the JobScheduler Information Dashboard,
which provides information about daily work plans - what will run today, what has already run but was late, what is scheduled for tomorrow, etc.
  • JOC - the JobScheduler Operations Center,
which provides a web-based interface for starting and monitoring jobs and orders in real time.
  • JOE - the JobScheduler Object Editor,
which is used to create and edit JobScheduler objects such as job chains and schedules.

JID uses information direct from the database and is therefore independent of any of the JobSchedulers whose work plans it calls up.

While JobScheduler does not have user administration, authentication can be added for JOC and JOE. See:

For more information see:

  • For a clear demonstration of showing the creation of a simple job chain see Chapter 4 onwards of ourJobScheduler Quickstart handbook.
