The language for the JobScheduler user interfaces (JID, JOC, JOE and Events) is normally set according to the language of the operating system of the host computer. This can be overwritten if desired by setting the "SOS_LOCALE" environment variable.

Note that the languages for the JID and JOE interfaces released with JobScheduler version 1.3.12.3060 (07-02-2013) is set to English, if it is not otherwise set, in the start scripts for the individual interfaces:

  • .\bin\dashboard.cmd
  • .\bin\jobeditor.cmd
The language for the Information Dashboard interface for JobScheduler version 1.3.12.3060 is also set in the user variable script:
  • .\user_bin\dashboard_environment_variables.cmd
We recommend that if required, these settings are overridden by setting the variable using, for example:
 set SOS_LOCALE=de

in the relevant file(s) in the .\user_bin folder.
