Introduction

The JS7 - Schedules are used to determine the start time and parameterization of orders. The Schedules are applied by the JS7 - Daily Plan to create orders for the workflow as specified by the run-time. You can manually apply the Schedules from the Daily Plan view, alternatively Schedules are automatically applied by the Daily Plan Service to create orders.

Workflow

The jdScheduledWorkflowBusinessDays workflow a Schedule is attached for a single start-time at 20:30:00. UTC. The Schedule makes use of a business day Calendar that specifies Monday to Friday as working days for the scheduling environment. 

The Daily Plan Service automatically schedules an order for the indicated start-time as specified by the assigned calendar and run-time. The scheduling of the order is performed for a configurable number of days ahead.

Follow the below steps to check the scheduling of orders for the workflow on business days:

  1. Click on the folder 05_ScheduledExecution and expand the jdScheduledWorkflowBusinessDays workflow.



  2. From the workflow expanded view, you can verify that the order is submitted for execution from Monday to Friday only at 20:30:00 UTC.

     

  3. Switch to the Daily Plan view to check submitted orders that are available for the current day and for the next day.
