Introduction
The JS7 - Schedules are used to determine the start time and parameterization of orders. Schedules are applied by the JS7 - Daily Plan to create orders for the workflow as specified by a run-time rule. Users can manually apply Schedules from the Daily Plan view, alternatively the JS7 - Daily Plan Service automatically applies Schedules to create orders.
Workflow
The jdScheduledWorkflowBusinessDays workflow has a Schedule attached for a single start time at 20:30:00. UTC. The Schedule uses a business day Calendar that specifies Monday to Friday as working days for the scheduling environment.
The Daily Plan Service automatically schedules an order for the indicated start time as specified by the assigned calendar and run-time rule. Scheduling of the order is performed for a configurable number of days ahead.
Follow the below steps to check the scheduling of orders for the workflow on business days:
- Click on the folder 05_ScheduledExecution and expand the jdScheduledWorkflowBusinessDays workflow.
- From the expanded workflow view, you can verify that the order is submitted for execution from Monday to Friday only at 20:30:00 UTC.
- Switch to the Daily Plan view to check submitted orders that are available for the current day and for the next day.
