Introduction

The Daily Plan and History provide information at a glance about which jobs and orders are scheduled to run, which are running, which have run and what results were returned by those jobs and orders that have run. Both the Daily Plan and History information are extracted by the JOC Cockpit Web Services from the JobScheduler Database as shown in the JOC Cockpit - Architecture page.

Daily Plan

The Daily Plan shows jobs and orders that are to run - that is have not yet started.

JobScheduler can now predict when a scheduled job or order will end using the average times required from previous job or order runs.

The Daily Plan is available as a table and as a timeline / Gantt chart view:

History

In JobScheduler versions up to and including 1.10, the JobScheduler Information Dashboard (JID) was used to provide history information. This function has now been included in the JOC Cockpit Web Services.

The History shows jobs that have started, are either running or paused, and have completed, along with log files and the results from jobs that have been completed.
