JADE - XML Configuration - XML Editor

Scope

• JADE is moving towards XML configuration.
• As typing XML creates a lot of overhead and is error-prone we therefore provide an XML Editor.
• Use of the XML Editor is free under the terms of the Freeware License model.

Functionality

• Manage JADE XML configuration files
• Assign JADE XSD Schema to configuration files
• Validate configuration files
• The schema-aware XML Editor suggests elements and attributes for configuration
• The XML Editor includes the documentation from the JADE - Reference Documentation

Operation

• Operate the XML Editor for Windows systems.
  • To our knowledge the XML Editor works for Windows Vista, 7, 8, Windows Server 2012 etc.
• The following prerequisites apply
  • Miicrosoft .NET Framework version 3.5 and higher

Installation

• Unzip the download archive to any location in your system
• Run the XML Editor binary sos.xml.editor.exe
