Both the JADE Client and Background Service can be executed on any operating system that supports a Java Virtual Machine. The JADE Client is written in Java and the Background Service is provided by one of our JITL jobs runing on a JobScheduler. The Client does not require any Java libraries that are specific to 32-bit or 64-bit systems, which means that it can be run with either 32 or 64-bit Java versions. The Background Service job itself does not use any Java libraries that are specific to 32-bit or 64-bit systems but as documented in the JobScheduler installation guide, the 64-bit JobScheduler version requires a 64-bit Java.

Releases of the JADE Client and Background Service for Windows and Unix systems can be downloaded directly from our web site.
