  • JOC is turning towards its end of life and will be replaced by a new component.
  • A concept for the new JOC Cockpit is available and development has started

Cockpit Requirements

Cockpit Requirements are classified in the following requirement types:

Architecture

  • JOC will be completely re-written.
  • A new framework is introduced that will replace the existing XML Interface by REST Web Services
  • Implementation of a web service interface between JOC Cockpit and JobScheduler

Milestones

  • approx. Sep 2015 / Feb 2016: requirements collection
  • approx. August / September 2016: web service interface
  • approx. November 2016: Release Candidate targeted for release 1.11
