Introduction

The JOC Cockpit Dashboard is an interface view that provides users with an overview of the activities in a JobScheduler environment and a starting point for accessing information and managing scheduling activities. Information accessed includes listing current and planned executions or the job history and management of scheduling activities such as starting or stopping JobSchedulers or modifying a Job Runtime. 

The Dashboard is made up from a number of widgets as shown in the following screenshot:

Dashboard View Features

The Dashboard view is made up of five widgets: 

  • Agent Cluster Status

    • This widget shows summary of the status of all the agent clusters in the environment. A master JobScheduler can start work across multiple Agent cluster, this its required to give user a single glance information about health of Agent Clusters.

    • If agent cluster is running ok, there are problems or its unreachable.

  • Master Cluster Status

    • This widget provides an overview of the operational status and health of a JobScheduler environment ODER 'ARCHITECTURE'?.

    • It covers the range of JobScheduler architectures e.g. standalone, passive cluster, active cluster etc.

    • Basic information - architecture, distribution, etc. - about every JobScheduler is available on mouse-over as shown in the screenshot below.
    • The Menu select box in the widget allows all JobSchedulers in the environment apart from the Supervisor JobScheduler to be restarted or terminated at once.
    • Controls are also available for restarting, terminating and aborting individual JobSchedulers as shown in the following screenshot
    •  

  • Agent Cluster Running Tasks

    • Goal of this widget to show at a glance number of running task on all the agent clusters.
    • One master JobScheduler can execute jobs across multiple agents. MEANING IN TAB CONTEXT NOT CLEAR
    • This widget will give single glance view of the running tasks
    • The View all Agents details link opens the Cockpit Resources tab showing the Agent Clusters view with All Agent Clusters.

  • Orders Overview

    • Goal of this widget to show current summery of order processing states e.g. running orders, setback orders etc., combining past and current data.

  • Daily Plan Overview

    • Goal of this widget is to give user a quick overview of how the daily plan is progressing and give information about top 5 process under daily plan in current time frame.
