How to handle errors

How is error handling managed by JobScheduler?

There are several ways to handle errors:

• The normal way, after an error has occurred, is to prevent the job from further automatic scheduling and send a notification, e.g. via mail.

• Another way is to setback a job and try again a number of times after going into the error-handling procedures. For more information see:
  • How to determine setback intervals depending on the exit code (with postprocessor) and
  • How to suspend an order after the max setback count has been reached
