Platforms & Architecture

JobScheduler Universal Agent is operated with a JobScheduler Master.

  • JobScheduler Master: Windows, Linux
  • JobScheduler Universal Agent: Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Mac OS, ... and any other platform that supports a Java Virtual Machine

 

 

Agent Cluster

Agent Clusters provide redundancy and automated fail-over of Agents:

  • A number of JobScheduler Agents can be configured in an Agent Cluster.
  • Fixed Priority Scheduling
    • JobScheduler Master will select the first available Agent for execution of jobs.
    • If an Agent is not available then the next available Agent is selected from the Agent Cluster.
  • Round-Robin Scheduling
    • JobScheduler Master will switch the Agent for each job execution.
    • If an Agent is not available then the next available Agent is selected from the Agent Cluster.
