The JADE Credential Store offers a central and secure location to store credentials rather then specifying, for example, a server's credentials such as user name and password in JITL job parametersconfiguration parameters.

Use of the Credential Store ensures compliance by enabling JADE to use passwords that are neither stored or transmitted in an unprotected form.

Note that the JADE Credential Store is a separate application that has been configured to be used by JADE. It is not related to the JAVA Keystore that can be used by the FTPSClientSecurity.
