Configuration of YADE releases up to and including 1.10 is carried out using a .ini settings file format. This format is not supported in 1.11 and later releases - instead an XML format is used.
The XML-Editor is provided with a YADE Ini2Xml Converter plug-in that allows existing .ini settings files to be converted to the XML format.
The use of this converter is described in detail in the first section of the YADE - Configuration - Migration from .ini settings files to XML configuration files article.
