Brief History of SOS GmbH
SOS GmbH was founded in 1983, the company has specialized on office automation, developing heterogeneous software programs and delivering services and support to its customers. Starting with mainframe machines, a decade later the company moved on to concentrate on automated document management on Windows and Unix systems. After several years' development, 2003 marked the first commercial installation of JobScheduler and the open source license was introduced 2005. We started development of our file transfer application SOSFTP in 2009 and its successor JADE in 2011.
Other noteworthy information includes:
- SOS GmbH has established a world-wide customer base with commercial licence holders.
- SOS GmbH has Partners working in Germany, France, Great Britain and Japan.
- A subsidiary was opened in Switzerland in 2010.
