According to the JobScheduler – Installation Guide, JobScheduler's configuration and log files are stored in $SCHEDULER_DATA. The default for $SCHEDULER_DATA is /home/user/sos-berlin.com/jobscheduler. We use /home for user home directories only, not for application software, including configuration and log files etc. Please use the Linux Standard Base (LSB).
You can specify the installation path for $SCHEDULER_DATA when you use our installer or when you install JS from batch.

Also according to JobScheduler – Installation Guide the port being used is 4444. We like to know if the tcp listening port being used is adjustable.
You can specify this during installation as well.
