According to the JobScheduler – Installation Guide (page 10), JobScheduler's configuration and log files are stored in $SCHEDULER_DATA. The default for $SCHEDULER_DATA is /home/user/sos-berlin.com/jobscheduler. We use /home for user home directories only, not for application software, including configuration and log files etc. Please use the Linux Standard Base (LSB).
You can specify the installation path for $SCHEDULER_DATA when you use our installer or when you install JS from batch.

Also according to JobScheduler – Installation Guide (page 13) the port being used is 4444. We like to know if the tcp listening port being used is adjustable.
You can specify this during installation as well.
