Events are XML snippets that are set by the JobScheduler's Event Service and are stored in XML files and the JobScheduler's database. Events are stored persistently and retained after a restart of the JobScheduler.

Configuration and Use of Events

The concept behind events is similar to concepts used by other workflow control systems and this may make getting started with events easier.

Events can be configured using managed and monitored in the JOC Cockpit GUI
