The JADE BackgroundService provides a prompt transfer of the history information to the Transfer History database and the JADE Background Service History Viewer or other viewing, reporting or notification system. However it is necessary to use the history file as a persistent backup system to cover situations where the history information cannot be transferred by the Background Service.
