Introduction
The Cloud Hosting Service is available as a commercial service and includes use of JS7 products from the cloud:
- JS7 Controller and JOC Cockpit are operated from the cloud. The software is installed and operated by SOS and makes use of a cloud database service.
- Customers deploy JS7 Agents for execution of jobs to the cloud or to servers in their IT environment.
The JS7 cloud infrastructure includes the following items:
- Two dedicated servers operated in different availability zones
- Flexible server capacity
- Performant Database
- JS7 Controller Passive Cluster for high availability
- JOC Cockpit Passive Cluster for high availability

The commercial service is provided from the cloud with the following infrastructure and sharing of responsibilities:
What SOS provides
- Setting up the cloud infrastructure for a fully functional scheduling environment
- Performing Update and Patch Management
- Granting access to the JOC Cockpit for inventory management, monitoring and control of jobs
- Integrating the cloud infrastructure with the customer's company network
What Customers provide
- Deployment of JS7 Agents to the cloud or to their IT environment
- Management of their own jobs in a JOC Cockpit instance in the cloud
- Monitoring and control of job execution
