Introduction

JADE uses the VFS (Virtual File System) Interface to access and transfer files from local and remote directories.

The protocols that can be used are: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WebDav, CIFS and the native file system.

The use of the virtual file system interface makes it easier to implement new protocols.
