Dual Licensing
- JobScheduler and JADE are available under a dual license model:
- Open Source License
- Commercial License
- Both license models are used for the same source code and therefore the same functionality of the products.
- SOS is committed to Open Source. Our software products are open source and will stay open source.
- Open Source is about free software, in the sense of freely available source code - it is not about services being free of charge.
- Open Source is about fully featured software, not about marketing. We therefore do not publish trial versions of commercially licensed products as Open Source software.
Open Source Licensing
- SOS products are licensed under GNU GPL (General Public License).
- Users of the Open Source license benefit from free software and may use it free of charge.
- No commercial services are provided for users of Open Source licenses.
- Users of Open Source licenses are asked to add bug reports and feature requests in public sites and to find answers to their questions by using available community resources.
