JobScheduler Event handling is a mechanism for implementing complex depe= ndencies between jobs or between jobs and external events.
The Event h= andling for job dependencies article provides an introduction to event = handling.
Events are XML snippets that are set by the JobScheduler's Event Service= and are stored in XML files and the JobScheduler's database. Events are st= ored persistently and retained after a restart of the JobScheduler.
Events can be managed and monitored in the JOC Cockpit GUI FE= ATURE AVAILABILITY STARTING FROM RELEASE 1.12 which replaces JID - JobScheduler Information Dashboard, whi= ch is deprecated as of Release 1.12.0.
The How To - Event= Handling article contains a list of articles describing how to impleme= nt job dependencies with events.
