Extract the downloaded archive jade_client_linux.x.x.x.tar.gz respec= tive jade_client_windows.x.x.x.zip to an arbitrary directory, e.g. /t= mp/ or C:\Temp\ and run the installer dialog for YADE Client using
/tmp/ja= de_client.x.x.x/setup.sh
C:\Temp= \jade_client.x.x.x\setup.cmd
If you want to start the installer without root permissions then you= can call it with the -u option.
/tmp/ja= de_client.x.x.x/setup.sh -u
In this case you have to edit the file jade_client_install.xml <= /em>to configure the installation path in Line 22.
<?xml version=3D"1.0" encoding=3D"UTF-8" standalone=3D"no"?> <!--=20 XML configuration file for JADE Client setup If you call the setup with this XML file then=20 you accept at the same time the terms of the=20 GNU GPL 2.0 License agreement (see licence.gpl or=20 http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html) --> <AutomatedInstallation langpack=3D"eng"> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.UserInputPanel id=3D"home"> <userInput/> </com.izforge.izpack.panels.UserInputPanel> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.HTMLLicencePanel id=3D"licence"/> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.TargetPanel id=3D"target"> =20 <!-- SELECT THE INSTALLATION PATH The path must be absolute! Default paths are /opt/sos-berlin.com/jade/client for Unix C:\Program Files\sos-berlin.com\jade\client for Windows --> <installpath>[:select absolute installation path of the YADE = Client:]</installpath> =20 </com.izforge.izpack.panels.TargetPanel> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.InstallPanel id=3D"install"/> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.ProcessPanel id=3D"process"/> <com.izforge.izpack.panels.FinishPanel id=3D"finish"/> </AutomatedInstallation>
After you have configured the jade_client_install.xml = then you call
/tmp/ja= de_client.x.x.x/setup.sh /tmp/jade_client.x.x.x/jade_client_install.xml
or
/tmp/ja= de_client.x.x.x/setup.sh -u /tmp/jade_client.x.x.x/jade_client_install.xml<= /pre>
or
C:\TEMP= \jade_client.x.x.x\setup.cmd C:\TEMP\jade_client.x.x.x\jade_client_install.= xml
